Xiaomi has just revealed that it has developed 80W fast wireless charging technology. the announcement has made through the Weibo website. The company claims that the technology can charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 19 minutes.
The company hasn’t announced phones that support 80W wireless charging, but the post suggests the generation of wireless charging will soon take over wired charging.
Xiaomi also shared a video from the YouTube channel showing 80W wireless charging in action with the changed Mi 10 Pro. According to a poster shared by the company on Weibo, 80W wireless charging technology can charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 19 minutes.
It can take from 0 to 50 percent of the battery in just 8 minutes. The company does not share whether it will first launch a phone or wireless charger that supports 80W wireless charging.
Xiaomi states this is the third development in terms of wireless charging. The video on the Xiaomi YouTube channel shows the actual technology. The company sets forth that it has introduced a fast charging speed of 80W using the changed Mi 10 Pro.
This shows that it can charge the phone 0 to 10 percent in just 1 minute, 10 to 50 percent in 8 minutes, and 100 percent in 19 minutes. The changed Mi 10 Pro sits on a stand with wireless charging.
