WhatsApp has tested some new features, a few of which have been found within the latest beta update. These new features found by WABetaInfo for both Android and iOS beta builds include improved search capabilities for multi-device login, clear chat, and in-chat search.
Yes, it’s the ability to use your WhatsApp account from 4 devices at the same time.
Under development, but it’s great!

Essentially the most attention-grabbing feature seems to be multi-device login support. The ability to make use of chat services throughout multiple devices saves time and reduces frustration and is extremely appreciated.
Currently, only one mobile device and PC/Mac web browser will be logged in on the similar time. You may swap between them, however only one can log in at a time.
The sign-in process takes a little bit of time and is annoying as a result of it’s important to log out of the device. WABetaInfo pointed out WhatsApp is testing multi-device login on as much as four devices at a time, however, this support just isn’t but for users inside the WhatsApp, beta build.
The 4 devices are, after all, lower than these supplied by other chat platforms like Telegram, however, after all, they outperform the current two device limits.
In addition, the incoming call feature includes an improved chat search. WhatsApp is working on being able to “search by date” when looking at the current conversation or group chat. This will help you find the specific conversation or media information you are looking for in chat.
The WABetaInfo screenshot shows the iOS version of the improved chat search, which will be coming soon to Android beta. Not only that, but WhatsApp is also working to find messages on the web. Currently, this can only be done on mobile. The platform will soon add a new toggle feature that will also enable you to search for messages and media in your web browser.
Another feature is added. It’s a storage usage extension that supports users to see how much storage their media saved from WhatsApp is using on their smartphones. This is a complete overhaul of the current section that provides storage information. But there is more. A future update to WhatsApp will give users the ability to delete entire chats and keep only marked messages.
If there are chats that only have certain important things that you have tagged and that are otherwise superfluous, you can delete the entire chat and keep only the tagged messages. This is an improvement over the current chat delete option, which currently removes all conversations from a chat.
