Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro will be launched in India on July 16
The Vivo X50 series will be launched in India on July 16th. The Chinese company announced on Twitter. Launched in China last month, the series consists of three models: the Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro, and Vivo X50 Pro +. However, Vivo has previously confirmed that only Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro models are available in India. The brand has adopted social media and announced that it will be released on Thursday at 12pm (IST). Both models with Snapdragon 765G are recommended to have a quad camera on the back
Vivo India announced the news by tweeting that the X50 series will be released three days later on July 16th at 12:00 pm (IST). The company wrote in a post: “It’s #PhotographyRedefined. Get ready to Xplore brighter & clearer world through the lens of a revolutionary smartphone.” With a caption, it’s clear that Vivo is promoting tomorrow’s mobile phone photography prowess.
Earlier this month, Vivo confirmed that the X50 series will actually be released in India via tweet. Shortly after its launch in China, Vivo India CEO Jerome Chen said he will be coming to India soon via Facebook. Last week, Vivo India reported in a press release that only the Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro will be sold in India.
The Vivo X50 series is very like 6.56-inch and AMOLED quality displays. The vanilla variant features a flat panel display and the pro variant features a waterfall curve finish. In terms of refresh rate, the X50, like the X50 Pro, has a 90 Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Vivo X50 Pro+ has a 120Hz display, but I don’t know if this latter variant could reach India. All handsets have a punch-hole design that can hold a selfie shooter.
The phone has equipped with a Snapdragon 765 SoC chipset that paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. on the other hand, The flagship Pro Plus, has a more solid Snapdragon 865 SoC. The Vivo X50 uses a 4,200mAh battery, while the X50 Pro boasts a 4,315mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The Vivo X50 has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP basic sensor, 13MP portrait, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro modules. The X50 Pro also boasts the same basic, vertical, and ultra-wideband modules. However, as a fourth sensor, there is an 8MP periscope telephoto module.
