The launch of the Mi 10 India had been previously postponed due to the coronavirus locking in the country. With the government now allowing e-commerce platforms to supply non-essential products like smartphones, brands like Xiaomi may start announcing new products in India. but now Xiaomi Mi 10 5G is ready to launch in India on May 8, the company officially announced on its Twitter account.
Xiaomi will announce the 108MP smartphone at a Livestream launch event on Friday, May 8 and we should know the time of the event in the coming days. The Mi 10 will go on sale on Amazon after its launch because the e-commerce site now has a microsite dedicated to the smartphone.

The specification of the Mi 10 has been more or less confirmed since it was launched globally and in China. The handset is still running Android 10 based MIUI 11. It features a curved 6.67-inch full HD + AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels, a refresh rate of 90Hz, a punched hole cutout to accommodate a selfie camera, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
This mobile phone can be used with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC combined with an Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The Mi 10 pack is a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX primary sensor, dual 2MP sensors (f / 2.4 aperture), 13MP (f / 2.4) wide-angle lens, and LED flash. On the front is a 20MP snapper for selfies and video chats.
There is a fingerprint sensor in the display for security and a 4,780mAh battery that supports fast charging of 30W. Connectivity options comprise 5G SA / NSA, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS / Galileo, and USB Type-C ports.
Mi 10 price in India
The Chinese company has yet to announce the Mi 10 price in India, but Xiaomi’s vice president and Indian Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain earlier confirmed that there would be a different pricing model for China announced last month due to different factors. As a direct import, higher GST and a depreciating rupee. the price of the Mi 10 in China starts at CNY 3,999 around Rs. 42,400 in India.
