Amazon India has unveiled the launch date of the Galaxy M42 5G and launched a microsite highlighting some important details of the smartphone. In terms of design, the Galaxy M42 5G features a square rear camera module that houses four camera sensors. It also has a notch at the top, which makes it an Infinity-U display. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor powers smartphones.
The Galaxy M42 5G also offers Samsung Pay, Secure Folder, Knox Security, content suggestions and AltZLife. The AltZLife allows users to switch between normal and private modes of the device by pressing the power button twice. Rumor has it that the Galaxy M425G will be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A425G model announced last year. However, there may be some differences between the M425G and the A425G smartphone.
The Galaxy M42 5G is expected to feature a 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is ‘comes equipped with a Snapdragon 750G and 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It can equip the phone with a 64MP quad camera system and a 6000mAh battery that supports fast charging over 15W.
