Reliance launches JioMeet that can support up to 100 users

Reliance has launched the new video conference app called Jio meet. The app can be downloaded on the Google Play store, iOS, macOS, Windows and can also be used on your desktop.
Like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, JioMeet offers users unlimited free video calls. For now, the company hasn’t announced a call duration limit but says users can make free, uninterrupted calls for up to 24 hours.
To get started with JioMeet, visit the JioMeet website or download the app and sign up with your email ID or phone number. As with Zoom, you can share the meeting invitation link with colleagues and friends, or use the meeting ID to join the meeting.
The meeting host can also turn on the Waiting Room feature to ensure that no participant joins without their permission. It also enables registration with up to 5 devices.
According to JioMeet, users can sign up for Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. However, there are options to install dedicated apps on major platforms like Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS. The service also provides an Outlook plugin.
