The Redmi K40 specification has been leaked online. after the success of the Redmi K30 in December last year with both 4G and 5G options, the company is now gearing up to launch the next-generation K-series smartphone called the Redmi K40.
the smartphone is supposed to equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. The Redmi K40 is also rumored to have a 4,500mAh battery. The new disclosures come days after a listing appeared on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) page, which was believed to be a Redmi K40 model. This 3C listing suggested 33W charging support for the next generation Redmi K-series phone.
A tipster on Weibo leaked the specifications of the Redmi K40. The tipster stated that the new Redmi phone would be equipped with a 120 Hz display.
This is in line with the Redmi K30 series, which debuted with a 120 Hz display to support the refresh rate, which features a dual-hole punch design. The Redmi K40 is also said to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC MT6889 chipset.
It supports 5G connectivity and supports octa-core processing. In addition, the Redmi K40 is rumored to have a 4,500mAh battery. Xiaomi has not provided information about Redmi K40 yet.
Earlier this month, the 3C site showed a Redmi model with model number M2006J10C. The model number is believed to debut as the Redmi K40. This list doesn’t include details about the new phones, but it suggests 33 W charging support.
