Xiaomi today launched new “Redmi AirDots 3” TWS earphones in its Redmi range in China. The new TWS earbuds are an improved version of the Redmi Air Dot 3, which launched in China in February. This new pro version has active noise cancellation, and it comes with wireless charging support and low latency mode for gaming.
Redmi AirDots 3 Pro features 9mm driver speakers with an active noise cancellation (ANC) feature. The active noise cancellation (ANC) feature can reduce noise by up to 35dB as per the company’s claim. The earphones are compatible with both Android and iOS platforms with Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity. You can also connect TWS earphones to two devices at the same time.
The battery life of the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro is claimed to be up to 6 hours on a single charge. The total battery life of the charging case is 28 hours. The case is charged via the USB Type-C port on the bottom. It also supports Qi wireless charging and delivers 3 hours of playback time with 10 minutes of charging. Touch controls are available for answering calls and controlling media.
According to Xiaomi, the Pro model has low latency sound with a latency of 69ms which is ideal for gaming.The Redmi AirDots 3 Pro also comes with a wear detection sensor that pauses music when you remove the earpiece from the ear. These new headphones from Xiaomi come with a waterproof IPX4.
Redmi AirDots 3 Pro is priced at 299 yuan (approximately Rs 3,400). Redmi AirDots 3 Pro earbuds are currently available for pre-order through JD.com and will go on sale in China on June 11th and it is available in obsidian black and Ice crystal gray. So far, Xiaomi has not released any information about the global release of the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro.
