Xiaomi’s latest budget smartphone Redmi 9 Power is on sale for the first time in India today. Redmi 9 Power was launched in India last week as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G, which will be available in India today through Amazon and Mi.com.
Redmi 9 Power is available in two variants. Redmi 9 Power priced at Rs. 10,999 for a base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, while a 128GB variant is priced at Rs.11,999. The smartphone is available in three colour options: Blazing Blue, Fiery Electric Green and Mighty Black. The smartphone will be available online on Amazon and Mi.com from 12 noon (noon).
Redmi 9 Power specifications
Redmi 9 Power smartphone is powered by the Android 10 OS and MIUI 12. The smartphone features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ Dot Drop display with1,080×2,340 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The device is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 662 processor, coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The onboard storage includes the 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage, which is expandable through the dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage up to 512GB.
The Redmi 9 Power comes with a quad camera setup on the back , which comprises a 48 MP primary camera sensor, along with an 8 MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, 2 MP macro shooter, and a 2 MP depth sensor. There is 8 MP camera sensor on the front of the smartphone for taking selfies and videos.
The phone also features high-res audio certified stereo speakers. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 6,000mAh battery with supports 18W fast charging. Connection options comprises 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS / A-GPS, infrared (IR) blaster, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C.
