The two-screen Android phone from Microsoft was announced in October 2019, but very little is known about the device. Now, Microsoft Surface Duo specifications leak reveals.
The Microsoft Surface Duo comes with a 360-degree hinge with two equal sides on two screens. As a result, neither display panel is foldable, but its hinges provide enough flexibility for your use case.
It was speculated that the device might become official in the summer. While we don’t have the most up-to-date information about Surface Duo release dates, a new report on Windows Central reveals the latest details about its specifications.
Microsoft Surface Duo specs (Rumored)
The Surface Duo has two 5.6 inch AMOLED displays of the same size. Each screen has a 4: 3 aspect ratio, 1800 x 1350 pixel resolution and 401 PPI pixel density. The tablet includes Android 10 OS and comes with Microsoft’s apps.
The company is trying to finalize the apps that will come with the smartphone by June. Microsoft apps can span two screens and also support drag and drop between two screens.
The Surface Duo is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 855, 6GB RAM, and 64GB or 256GB storage options and it’s not expandable. the Surface Duo will pack with a 3460mAh battery that will be coupled with fast charging technology through USB-C. It is equipped with a fingerprint reader.
It has a rear camera with 11 megapixels, an aperture of 1: 2.0 and a pixel size of 1.12 microns. It is speculated that the device does not support wireless charging and NFC. There is no word on the pricing of the device.
