Infinix is officially launched the Infinix ZERO 5G smartphone in India. This is the first 5G smartphone from the brand. The phone comes with features like hole-punch display design with 120Hz refresh rate and the phone is equipped with a triple rear camera unit, headlined by a 48-megapixel primary sensor. This new smartphone from the Infinix available in two colours_ Cosmic Black and Skylight Orange colour options.
The Infinix Zero 5G is priced at Rs.19,999 on the 8GB + 128GB storage model. Phones will be available for purchase through Flipkart from February 18th.
Infinix Zero 5G specifications
Infinix Zero 5G is powered by the XOS 10 on Android 11. Infinix’s first 5G products feature a 6.78-inch Full HD + IPS LTPS (1,080×2,460 pixels) display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 500-nits peak brightness. The aspect ratio of the display is also 20.5: 9.
Internally, the Infinix Zero 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor that paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset has the option to add 5GB of virtual RAM with and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. Infinix Zero 5G’s internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
When it comes to cameras, Infinix has added a triple rear camera setup to the Infinix Zero 5G. It is led by a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f / 1.79 lens. The camera setup also includes a 13-megapixel portrait shooter that supports 2x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom, as well as a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The rear camera setup is paired with a quad LED flash and supports features such as slow motion, super night mode, and 4K video recording at 30fps. For selfies and video chat, the Infinix Zero 5G features a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f / 2.0 lens on the front. According to the company, it comes with a dual LED flash. Phone connection options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5, GPS, OTG, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port.
This phone is equipped with an ambient light sensor, a light sensor, a barometer, a gyroscope, a g-sensor, an e-compass, and a proximity sensor. For authentication, the new Infinix handset also has a fingerprint sensor. The company has installed a 5,000mAh battery in the new Infinix Zero 5G. It also supports 33W fast charging.
