Huawei Band 6 with 14 days battery life, 96 Workout Modes is now official

The Chinese tech giant Huawei has been launched its latest fitness band Huawei Band 6 in the Malaysia market. The key specifications of the Huawei Band 6 include the large 1.47-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth v5.0, heart monitoring sensor, sleep tracker, blood oxygen tracker and a huge battery. The Huawei Band 6 is the successor to the Huawei Band 5, which is full of fitness and reliability. However, while the band 4’s profile was slim, the band 6’s display is larger and looks wider than its predecessor. 

Huawei Band 6 Specifications 

Huawei Band 6 is come with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a 194×368 pixels resolution. As compared to its predecessor, Huawei Band 6 has a 148% larger display. The design of the Huawei Band 6 has slim bezels rectangular screen with a 64 percent screen-to-body ratio and a single button on the right for navigation. The Huawei offers a skin-friendly UV-treated silicone strap and band is weighs about 18 grams.   

Huawei Band 6 estimates battery life to be last for up to 14 days under normal use or up to 10 days under frequent use, and it does charge via a magnetic charger. Huawei also states that a charge of just 5 minutes will give you enough juice for 2 days of operation. The sensor board includes Huawei’s TruSeen 4.0 24×7 heart rate monitoring, TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring, and its TruRelax stress monitoring technology. It also capable of SpO2 blood oxygen saturation monitoring. 

In terms of activity tracking, Huawei Band 6 has 96 different sports modes, including basic running, swimming, elliptical, rowing, treadmill among others. In addition, the fitness band comes with NFC support for payment, access control card swiping, notifications, calls and message alerts from a connected phone along with a media control and remote camera shutter. 

Huawei Band 6 price and availability 

Huawei set the price of the new Huawei Band 6 for RM219 (approximately Rs. 3,800) in the Malaysian market and it comes with a three colour options: forest green, amber sunrise and graphite black colour options. The Huawei Band 6 will be available at Huawei’s official online store in Malaysia on Sunday, April 4.
