Google finally launches affordable smartphone Pixel 4a today. Google announced the launch of a new phone that is likely to be the Pixel 4a. The phone was expected to debut in May of this year but due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the phone launch has been delayed for several months
Google hasn’t disclosed details about when Pixel 4a will be available. But, it confirmed last week that the phone will debut late today. Announcements will be made early in the morning in the United States and expected in the evening in India.
Google Pixel 4a expected specifications
Google Pixel 4a is expected to run on standard Android 10 with the latest security patches out of the box. The Google Pixel 4a is also rumored to have a 5.8-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) display and perforation design.
It is considered a combination of Octacore’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC with Adreno 618 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The storage is equipped with 64GB and 128GB options.
In terms of cameras, it’s rumored that Google Pixel 4a has a 12.2 MP camera on the back and selfies have an 8 MP camera. Based on the teaser, the Pixel 4a has been confirmed to have night view mode and portrait mode. More camera features are expected in Pixel 4a.
In addition, it is said to have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. You can also expect a 3,080mAh battery that supports fast charging of 18W.
In addition to the regular Pixel 4a, Google is speculated to offer a 5G variant in the market that supports next-generation networks. However, the Indian market may only acquire 4G options.
Google Pixel 4a can be priced at $300 (about Rs. 22,400) for the 64GB storage model and $350 (about Rs. 26,100) for the 128GB version, according to the latest report. The phone may also arrive in India. However, details of Indian prices have not yet been revealed.
