Garmin have launched two new wearables: Venu 2 and Garmin Venu 2S in India. These new Venu series smartwatches comes with a AMOLED display with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the top. The latest version of the Venu series smartwatch features built-in health snapshots for recording 2-minute sessions on heart rate, blood oxygen, breathing and stress levels.
The Garmin Venu 2 smartwatch is available purchase at Rs.41,990 in India on Amazon, Flipkart, Tata CliQ, and synergizer.co.in. while Garmin Venu 2S is priced in India at Rs. 37,990 and it available for purchase via Amazon till Prime Day. Both the Venu 2 and the Venu 2S will be available in two new colour options include a silver bezel with Granite Blue case and a Slate Bezel with Black case.
The Venu 2 is a slightly larger model of the two models with a 2.45mm AMOLED display and a 22mm wristband. The Venu 2S, on the other hand, comes with a 40mm AMOLED display and an 18mm wristband. Both watches have a silicon band. As a result, Venu2 weighs 49.0 grams, slightly heavier than Venu2S, with a total weight of 38.2 grams.
Both smartwatches are water resistant and can be used while swimming. The Garmin smartwatch supports BLE and Wi-Fi connectivity and is pre-packed with over 25 sports-oriented apps for high-intensity training, aerobic exercise programs and more. From a health monitoring perspective, the clock helps track breathing, hydration, stress, oxygen saturation, pregnancy and menstrual cycle, sleep, and other additional health monitoring indicators.
It also has safety and tracking features that can detect accidents while walking, driving or driving outdoors. Manual triggers can also send alerts to emergency contacts with real-time location information. For the Venu 2, Garmin says the smartwatch can achieve battery life of up to 11 days in smartwatch mode and up to 8 hours in GPS mode. The same indicator for the Venu 2S ranges from 10 days up to 7 hours.
