Qualcomm recently unveiled a new processor, the Snapdragon 865+ chipset, which is the most required processor for the smartphone maker over who’s going to update their lineup first.
A recent report revealed that Xiaomi will also launch the Black Shark 3S. A Chinese company today went to Weibo to confirm that it will hold a Black Shark 3S launch event on July 31st.
On July 22, Luo Yuzhou, CEO of Black Shark, published a mysterious post on Weibo. Interestingly, Yuzhou used the unpublished Black Shark 3S to publish Weibo’s post. Therefore, the appearance of the Black Shark 3S seemed imminent.
The company announced today that the Black Shark 3S will be announced on July 31 at 3:00 pm. The device specifications are not disclosed.
Xiaomi launched the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro gaming phones earlier this year. The former had a 6.67-inch display, while the latter arrived with a large 7.1-inch display. Black Shark 3S is an updated version of Black Shark 3 and its main highlight is the inclusion of Snapdragon 865+.
