Technology giant Apple has announced a new version of its most popular notebooks, which will feature with its own processor Apple M1 SoC. the new notebooks are includes MacBook Pro 13-inch, MacBook Air, and Mac mini computers. Earlier this year, Apple announced that it would begin migrating from the Intel X86 CUP to its own ARM-based processors, which company has used for its Mac product line since 15 years.
The Apple’s new generation M1 processor, which includes eight cores- four high-power and four power efficiency, along with a plus a custom integrated GPU, image signal processor, neural engine, and Secure Enclave. The Apple M1 designed with a new integrated memory architecture that is said to enhance power performance and is constructed on a 5nm process.
The price of the new 13-inch MacBook Pro set for Rs 1,22,900 with 256 GB of storage and 512 GB of storage for Rs 1,42,900. These are the same price as previous MacBook Pro models. The prices in the United States are $ 1,299 and $ 1,499 respectively.
Both have 8 GB of built-in memory. The Intel-based 13-inch MacBook Pro model continues to be listed, with 512GB and 1TB of storage available for sale at Rs. 1,74,900 respectively 1,94,900. It sells all variations in silver and space grey.
The MacBook Air remains the same with Apple M1 SoC, priced at 256GB. 92,900 in India, it sells 512GB model for Rs. 1,17,900. Prices in the US are $999 and $ 1,249 respectively. MacBook Air models with Intel are no longer listed. The colour options are Silver, Space Gray, and Gold.
The Mac Mini has also been slashed to $100 and so on in India, and the 256GB version is currently priced at Rs. 64,900 and 512GB variant of Rs. 84,900. The prices in the US are $699 and $899, and cash is the only option. Only one version powered by Intel is still listed.
